This training program will provide a comprehensive overview of the topics central to cell and gene therapy manufacturing and development, while preparing the future biomanufacturing workforce to meet rapidly growing industry needs. The program is designed in a flexible format with instructional modules developed by field experts with input from academic, clinical, and commercial domain experts. Topics covered will provide detailed understanding of key concepts relevant to cell biomanufacturing, including stem cell and immune cell engineering; cell bioprocessing and characterization; quality assurance and regulatory framework; and importance of standards. The lectures will be complemented by live panel discussions involving experts from therapeutic cell biomanufacturing industry.

Workforce Development in Biomanufacturing: Training in Cell and Gene Therapies – A Global Partnership with ISCT and CMaT is designed for professionals entering the field of cell and gene therapy or professionals who are already in industry but looking to transition or gain expertise in cell therapy and cell manufacturing.
